How did I get here?
Derek Jeter (former pro baseball shortstop and CEO of Maimi Marlins) once said "There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do" and I truly couldn't find another quote that better encapsulated my approach to life and my work.
I've always been a story teller, a raconteur, practicing the art of eloquent expression and what is digital marketing if not building empathy through creative story telling. Every successful digital campaign ever has had one thing in common, it invokes an emotional trigger in the viewer, which in turn leads to them to becoming a customer for a service or consumer for a product. That is the subtle art of Digital Marketing......and behind this art is a very complicated science.
Understanding search engine mechanics, advanced statistics and marketing analytics is imperative to any digital marketing campaign. I learnt the technical ins and outs of marketing during my time in university (I graduated from the University of Toronto) and have built on that foundation through real-world application, failure (I'm not afraid to admit that I've made mistakes) & relentless exploration of ideas.
